Create A Wardrobe
That Works

Do
you wear 20% of your clothes 80% of the time and have a wardrobe
full of clothes but nothing to wear?
This
seems to be a concern for a lot of women. Most of us wear about
20% of what is in our wardrobe. Planning your wardrobe will save
you a lot of time and money, in addition to helping you overcome
the problem of having a wardrobe full of clothes and 'nothing to
wear'.

well planned wardrobe is a 'working' wardrobe!

Having
read all of the other information we have provided, you should now
have an idea as to your body shape, colouring, your personal style
and the image that you wish to project.
The next step is to understand, to dress well you only need a small
wardrobe of versatile garments that combines your workplace and lifestyle.
Your aim is to have a wardrobe that works for you.

Where to start?

Step
one: Clean out your current wardrobe
If you have a wardrobe cluttered with clothes that are no longer
useful, it is now time to get rid of them. Please work through your
wardrobe, section by section, casual, day/work clothes & evening.
- ask
yourself, do you wear them a lot, occasionally, or not at all?
- if you have not
worn them for more than 2 years - then ou tthey
go!! - all those items that are too small, sales mistakes, wrong
colour or are out-of-date.
- place all your clothes
on the bed, start sorting and be ruthless!
- apply the same
process to your shoes and accessories. List what you need to buy.
- organise your wardrobe,
grouping together sweater, shirts, dresses, jackets, skirts, pants,
and suits so that you can see everything. You can either try selling
give them to a second-hand recycle clothing shop or drop them
off to your nearest charity.

Step
2: Your
lifestyle
Make a list over a period of a month, of all the hours spent per lifestyle
activity. This will give you an idea as where you should allocate
your money when putting your wardrobe together.
For example
- 8 -10 hours - working,
which includes travelling
- 8 hours Nlooking
after the children
- 8 hours - sleeping
- 8 hors - sleeping
- 4-5 hours - leisure
- 1-2 hours - cooking/eating

3: How
much should I spend?
Work out a realistic budget
for each fashion season and stick toiit!
